There is something for everyone in Schilksee, as the beach is divided into different areas - including a nudist area and a dog beach. If you take the fjord ferry to Mönkeberg, for example, you will land at three small, family-friendly beach bays that are perfect for swimming. Right next door is the idyllic marina with its tiny lighthouse, the "Juliusturm". If you don't just want to lie on the beach and sizzle in the sun, simply follow the fjord hiking trail and walk along the fjord via Kitzeberg and Heikendorf to Laboe.

The 3.7-kilometre-long natural beach attracts guests who want to relax and sizzle in the sun behind the dyke as well as surfers who want to hit the waves.
