Stadtwerke Ice Festival

The Stadtwerke Ice Festival is a firm favourite in Kiel and provides winter fun during the eight-week season. The fully covered ice rink offers a wide range of activities including ice skating, skate hire, curling on synthetic rinks, company and Christmas parties and children's birthday parties.

The next season starts in November 2025 and bookings can be made from September.

Ice skating for all

The 600 square metre covered ice rink invites you to enjoy winter fun!
Adults: €4.50
Children: €4.00
Family ticket: €16.00

Ice skating for school classes

ICE SKATING FULLY BOOKED! School classes can use the ice rink in the morning at discounted rates. Plastic rinks for curling can also be booked on request!

Stick shooting (until 5 pm)

Throughout the day, you can not only skate your laps, but also try your luck at curling on a total of 5 synthetic tracks.

Stick shooting (from 5 pm)

Meet up with your friends or colleagues from 5 pm for a game of curling! A total of 5 plastic lanes are available for this sport.

Children's birthday parties

Celebrate children's birthday parties on the ice rink!
Mon-Fri: 2-5pm (from 11am during the holidays)
Sat-Sun: 11am-2pm & 2-5pm

Company and Christmas parties

Every year...there's a company party to organise! Make it easy for yourself and book your winter experience on the ice. (Mon-Sat 18-22 hrs)

Team building events FÖRDEAKADEMIE

This year, for the first time, you will have the opportunity to book a team-building event with the Förde Akademie for your Christmas party.

Changing DJs lure you to the ice rink with the best beats - whether current charts or themed discos, you can look forward to the disco evenings on the ice rink!

Food & drink from the "Kajüte"

This year, Event Catering Kiel will provide you with delicious snacks and drinks. In addition to the separate order card for catering for your company and Christmas party, there will also be a gastronomic offer of snacks and drinks on site. All leftover food will be donated to the Kieler Tafel!

Stadtwerke Kiel MASTERS 2025

A total of 80 teams took part in the Stadtwerke Kiel MASTERS over seven days of exciting and fair duels on the curling lanes.

In the end, the "Cool Runnings Next Generation" secured first place in an atmospheric final! The coveted challenge cup is now one name richer!

The winning team and the other runners-up were also delighted to receive attractive prizes, including tickets to Holstein Kiel, adventure vouchers from the FördeAkademie, Kiel vouchersfree tickets for curling and a sailing event at the sailing camp Sailing camp powered by Stadtwerke Kiel.

Show your current car park, bus, ferry or train ticket at the cash desk and we will refund €0.50 if you spend at least €10!

This year's Stadtwerke Eisfestival takes place at the Germaniahafen harbour in Kiel.

Bus & Train

Within walking distance of the main railway station. Right next door is the Gaardener Ring stop on the KVG line 14 from Laboe and Mettenhof.

Car

There are plenty of paid parking spaces directly at the Germaniahafen. Alternatively, you can park in the multi-storey car park at the ZOB and in the multi-storey car park at the Cap. From there, the ice rink can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes.

Bicycle

Bicycle racks are available. You can also take advantage of the SprottenFlotte service. The first 30 minutes are free of charge.

Barrier-free

Access to the event is barrier-free and a disabled toilet is available.
