Kiel sea of lights
Every year, the Kiel Sea of Lights illuminates the dark season in Kiel.Sailing.City and amazes young and old alike. Visitors can enjoy an impressive combination of light and music along the large light route. In addition to light installations, Sunday shopping also entices visitors to browse and linger.
Grand opening on 19th of November
Das Stadtwerke Eisfestival
On 19 November, it's finally that time again: celebrate with us the opening of the popular Stadtwerke Ice Festival. With music from DJ NIKKI, hosted by Maschine and free admission to the ice rink. Skates are available on site for only £5 – the proceeds go to the NDR charity campaign ‘Hand in Hand for Northern Germany’. Get your skates on and enjoy an unforgettable winter evening on the ice!

The Town Hall Tower Tour
Discover Kiel from above
Enjoy the incomparable panorama of Kiel from a height of 67 metres. The town hall tower is a listed building and one of the city's landmarks. You will climb to the platform of the building, which was constructed between 1907 and 1911. From this bird's-eye view, you will have a unique view from the city centre to the cruise port – an ideal starting point for exploring the city on your own.
