Kiel Can Catwalk - Show
On 5 July, all fashion companies from Kiel's city centre had the opportunity to show what their collections have to offer. Particularly popular: shops and fashion with a commitment to sustainability. After all, whether business owners who are committed to their location, companies with short delivery routes, fair working conditions or ecological production - these are all steps towards a conscious (fashion) world of tomorrow.
The co-organiser FAEX has been successfully organising similar events in cities such as Bremen and Freiburg since 2019. In Freiburg, 140 local tradespeople recently took part in the local Fashion Days. FAEX brings along inspiring brands from the slow fashion sector that are a must on the catwalk.
Equipped with background knowledge and a stage guest or two on hand, the fashion-conscious Kiel stylist Björn Donner guided the audience through the programme. Presented by regional models, fashion was brought to life at first hand. Our fashion painting station and free face painting awaited the little ones among the styling-conscious.
From 7 pm, we celebrated the fitting conclusion of Kiel Kann Catwalk at the after-show party in the Holiday Inn - the niu, Welly Kiel.
Pop-up store FAEX
From 4 to 8 July FAEX presented fashion from the slow fashion industry in "Projektraum 13" . The store was lovingly prepared by FAEX, the team was on site and invited visitors to browse, discover and exchange ideas.

Who could present the fashion of the city centre more authentically than the faces from next door? Because it is important to us to create an experience by Kielers for Kielers, we looked for you and found you - we received numerous applications and were spoilt for choice. So many local models were able to present the fashion.
