On this special weekend, the city is transformed into a colourful sea of flowers: we celebrate spring with a colourful programme full of hands-on activities, outdoor sports and lots of good vibes. In addition, the shops in the city centre and in Holtenauer Straße will open their doors on Sunday and invite you to shop, linger and enjoy.

With "Kiel blossoms!", the state capital celebrates the awakening of spring. The city centre and Holtenauer Straße are transformed into a colourful sea of flowers and offer a varied programme for all generations.

The highlights at a glance:

Floral splendour: Admire the sea of flowers at Pflanzenhof Paulwitz on Holstenplatz.
Sunday shopping: Take advantage of the Sunday opening from 13:00 to 18:00 to browse through the latest spring collections in a relaxed atmosphere.
Colourful market hustle and bustle: Discover regional specialities, handicrafts and culinary treats at numerous stalls.
Fun & games: A varied hands-on programme with sports stations and creative workshops will delight young visitors.

Sunday open for business

As part of ICH FÜHL MICH KIEL, Galeria/Holstentörn and Sophienhof as well as Holtenauer, Möbel Höffner and Famila Kiel-Wik will be open from 1pm to 6pm in addition to the shops in Kiel city centre.
