We're getting going again! The 16th Bootshafensommer 2024 will take place from July 19 - August 25, 2024 in the heart of Kiel's city center. On six weekends, visitors can look forward to a variety of live music and various themed days on Fridays and Saturdays between 15:00 and 22:00.

Wide range of music for every taste
Artists from a wide range of genres, from punk to classical to reggae, provide the soundtrack to summer for every taste against a maritime backdrop. The organizers from Kiel-Marketing attach great importance to a wide range of music - and provide both newcomers from Kiel and nationally known acts with a stage in a unique location. The catering partners spoil guests with culinary delights and summery cold drinks.

No, the Bootshafensommer is live - for everyone - open-air and free of charge in Kiel's most beautiful center.
You are welcome to drop by on Fridays and Saturdays between 15:00 and 22:00. We look forward to seeing you!
Yes, there are public toilets available free of charge. There is also a barrier-free toilet on site for holders of a so-called Euro key. If you do not have such a key, simply contact us.
In addition to the musicians, there will be table football and the popular sack punch for the little ones. You can pick up free hearing protection at the information stand.
For small and large appetites, you will find everything your heart desires, from hearty burgers, fish sandwiches, chips, vegan savory crepes and falafel to gyros. For dessert, there is ice cream and vegan sweet crepes.
The drinks on offer range from classics such as beer and soft drinks to freshly made cocktails, long drinks and various coffee specialties.
Yes, you are in a public area during the event. However, please bear in mind that a great and expensive program is put together here every year and that the organizer or the stand operators are therefore also dependent on the sale of drinks and food.

The bus stop "Bootshafen" is served by the KVG bus lines 30S, 32, 41/42 and 61/62. Here you can get aTimetable information about Nah.SH.
Car
Sufficient parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Information at www.parken-plus.info.
Bicycle
Bicycle racks are available. You can also use the SprottenFlotte bike-sharing service. The first 30 minutes are free of charge.
Accessibility
Access to the event is barrier-free, and a disabled toilet is available for holders of a Euro WC key.
