We are kicking off the Boating Harbour Summer 2025 with a wonderful day of participation. After the Förderblasorchester has provided the musical introduction, Fördesalsa will invite you to join in the great communal salsa dancing on the pontoon of the boat harbour. The day will be crowned with a mass karaoke by the "Karaoke Boys", who will invite you to sing along on an XXXL screen. From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., you are also invited to spray and craft to your heart's content with the people from "Zeitenwaende". Canvases, spray cans, craft materials, disposable suits and expert guidance are guaranteed. So, whether it's dancing, singing and spraying away with a spray can in your hand - be part of Bootshafen Summer 2025!

Live broadcast of the summer opera
Giuseppe Verdi's most popular opera is coming to Kiel! The story of "La Traviata", the courtesan Violetta who has lost her way, awaits you as a great open-air spectacle. A drama about love, freedom, mortality and the fight for self-determination (interval 21:15 - 21:45). Be there when the free premiere of the summer opera is broadcast live on a large screen on the banks of the boat harbour from 8 pm! But if it's too crowded for you, don't worry. The summer opera will be performed on the Rathausplatz until 27 July. Tickets are available here.
With the kind support of Warner Bro., we will start at 3 pm with the three-part documentary film "A Voyage of Discovery: The Ocean Race", a circumnavigation of the globe in competition mode. The series accompanies the five IMOCA teams on their journey across the world's oceans and shows unique perspectives and the most gripping stories of the Ocean Race 2022-2023 (original English with German subtitles, 3 x 45min).

Kiezhelden - Support your local dealer
Inner cities are changing. This is nothing new, but it still presents us with challenges time and again. Interactive, informative and service-orientated, you can stroll past the various participants, try things out and get into conversation. At the same time, we will be presenting our "Kiel kann Kiez" concept. So there's a lot to discover!

Charity weekend in favour of the nettekiel volunteer office
When you return your cups and glasses, simply waive the deposit and donate to a good cause. Our caterers will then round up the amount collected by a further €1000! Deposit good, beer good, everything good!
The nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro is an institution of the Kreisarbeitsgemeinschaft der freien Wohlfahrtsverbände Kiel with the support of the state capital Kiel and the Jobcenter Kiel.
Its core task is to advise and place people interested in volunteering in all areas of society, across all generations and free of charge. The nettekiel volunteer office cooperates with associations, initiatives, parishes and other organisations that are committed to the common good and are looking for volunteers. It also supports projects to promote civic engagement, organises events on the topic of volunteering and promotes local and regional networks to strengthen volunteering. The aim is to strengthen the diversity of voluntary work and to publicise its importance for society and for each individual. The proceeds from the charity weekend will go to the "Löppt mitnanner" project - a project that aims to inspire pupils from secondary school level I onwards to get involved and thus make clubs more sustainable.
