Wingfoiling is one of the newer trend sports and is essentially a mix of kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing. What does it look like? You stand on a board fitted with a foil, holding a wing in your hand, using it to catch the wind and propel yourself through the water. It feels a bit like flying!

By the way: Kiel-based Malik Humeida is right at the forefront of wingfoiling. The 20-year-old professional athlete is planning to set a world record at the end of May – he aims to cover 350 km in 12 hours on wingfoil equipment in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Damp!
