Ice skates are required on the ice rink. Gloves are compulsory! We recommend that children wear a helmet and pads. Both are also available for hire on site.
Gloves and helmets are compulsory for school classes! The wearing of pads is recommended!

For stick shooting on synthetic tracks, we recommend shoes without heels and winter clothing. Ice skates are not required.

The bookable event rooms are heated, the area around the ice rink and the synthetic rinks are not. Depending on the weather, we generally recommend winter clothing.

The ice rink is less than 10 minutes' walk from the main railway station. Simply cross the Hörnbrücke bridge.

There are plenty of paid parking spaces directly at the Germaniahafen. Alternatively, you can park in the multi-storey car park at the ZOB and in the multi-storey car park at the Cap, from where it is only a 10-minute walk to the ice festival.

Parking-Plus: Show your current car park, bus, ferry or train ticket at the ticket office and you will receive a €0.50 refund from us for a minimum purchase of €10!

Yes, there are plenty of bicycle stands on the premises. You are also welcome to use the SprottenFlotte service.

Of course you can use your own skates. In this case, you only have to pay the entrance fee, there is no hire charge.

Yes, access is barrier-free. A disabled toilet is available.

Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 14 calendar days before the booked date in writing via Kiel-Marketing e.V.. After this deadline, the full costs must be paid in the event of cancellation. Except in cases of "force majeure" and official orders.

Two teams take it in turns to throw their sticks from the baseline towards the target circle (house). The aim is to place the sticks as close as possible to the stave (puck).

It is not permitted to bring your own food and drink. The on-site catering offers an extensive range of hot and cold drinks and food. You can find the "Kajüte" food and drink menu on this website.

You can celebrate an unforgettable birthday at the Stadtwerke Ice Festival! The children's birthday parties can be booked via this website.

The following dates are available:
Monday to Friday: 2 - 5 pm.
Saturday, Sunday and every holiday: 11 am - 2 pm or 2 - 5 pm.

The basic package includes use of the ice rink, ice skates for all participants, a stay in the event room as well as a drink and a portion of chips or a crêpe per child.

When booking the "Allrounder" package, the children can also try out a lesson of curling on plastic rinks.

A total of two heated event rooms are available for (company) celebrations from Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 10 pm. They are designed for 40 and 80 people respectively and can be combined with curling, ice skating and/or team building and pre-bookable catering on request.
