Kiel winter aid for people in need
When the days get shorter and colder, mutual support is particularly important. This year, we are once again collecting parcels for people in need. Pack a parcel with non-perishable food or useful everyday items and hand it in at the Welcome Centre Kieler Förde. Every donation makes a valuable contribution and makes the winter a little brighter.
These contents are welcome as donations:
- Shelf-stable sweets
- Tinned fish (with opening handle)
- Tinned soups such as stews/ravioli
- Crispbread
- Deodorant
- Foot and hand warmers
- Cans of drinks
- Cocoa or other drinks packs
- Tea
- Dog food
- Dog toys
- 5 minute tureen or similar
- Vouchers/coupons (e.g. for McDonalds/ Steiskal or similar)
These contents are not welcome as donations:
- Cash
- perishable food
- Food with a short shelf life
- Clothing
- Shoes
- Blankets
- Sleeping bags
- Alcohol

Procedure
- You fill your own shoebox with donations from the list
- Important: Please do not seal the box, as it will be checked later and assigned to gender if necessary
- then hand in the filled, unsealed shoebox at the Welcome Centre (Stresemannplatz 1, 24103 Kiel)
The donation campaign is organised by Kiel-Marketing e.V. The donation boxes are collected at the Welcome Centre Kiel and distributed to people in need at irregular intervals after they have been inspected.
