Stadtwerke Ice Festival
The Stadtwerke Ice Festival is a permanent fixture in Kiel and provides winter fun during the eight-week season. The fully covered ice rink offers a wide range of activities including ice skating, skate hire, curling on synthetic rinks, team building, company and Christmas parties and children's birthday parties. This year, the ice rink will be located at the Germaniahafen in Kiel for the first time, with a direct view of the Kiel Fjord.
The season 2025/2026 starts in November 2025. Bookings can be done from September.

Changing DJs lure you to the ice rink with the best beats - whether current charts or theme discos, you can look forward to the disco evenings on the ice rink!
Our winter tip: Children's ice cream DISCO
During the Christmas vacations, there is an ice DISCO with DJ Chris Begert especially for our younger guests! All dancing mice aged 3 to 12 can let off steam on the ice rink.
Responsibility for the climate
We and all our partners are making increased efforts to save energy. This is achieved, among other things, by using state-of-the-art cooling technology and the use of plastic tracks for curling that can be used for several years.
In addition, the energy supply with 100% green electricity from Stadtwerke Kiel ensures an environmentally friendly event.

The Gaardener Ring stop on the KVG line 14 from Laboe and Mettenhof is right next door and can be reached on foot from the main station.

Sufficient parking spaces are available directly at the Germaniahafen via the Gaardener Ring access road.
Bicycle
Bicycle racks are available. You can also take advantage of the SprottenFlotte service. The first 30 minutes are free of charge.
