The Hörn flea market runs all the way round the Hörn, right alongside Germaniahafen. Stalls line up for around 1.2 km, inviting visitors to haggle. The state capital, Kiel, organises the event and provides on-site toilets.
What makes it special? Browsing right by the water with a maritime atmosphere.

Special flea market for children’s items and toys in the city centre
This special flea market is also organised by the city of Kiel and covers large parts of the city centre. You’ll find the stalls on Holstenstraße, at Europaplatz/Schrevenbrücke and on Holstenplatz.

Flea market at the Uhlenkrog Animal Shelter
The car boot sale at the Uhlenkrog Animal Shelter takes place once a month on the shelter’s grounds and offers a colourful mix of books, games, pet accessories, handmade items and more. As well as having a browse, visitors also have the chance to learn more about our work at the animal shelter and explore the grounds on a guided tour. The flea market is a lovely destination for a weekend trip to Kiel, particularly for families and anyone who enjoys a sustainable browse.
What makes it special? Allproceeds go directly towards supporting the animals at the shelter.

Flea market at Citti Park
The flea market at CITTI-PARK is one of the largest in Kiel. This is where the whole city comes together to browse, haggle and discover unique finds. Thanks to its excellent transport links, the venue is particularly easy to reach and attracts large numbers of visitors every time.
What makes it special? Thanks to the covered underground car park, the flea market remains a dry destination even when it rains.

A new venue has been added to our flea market guide: the REWE site (formerly ‘plaza’) in Kiel. Here you’ll find spacious outdoor areas for market stalls, as well as a number of sheltered, covered spaces (no cars allowed at the stalls). There are plenty of parking spaces available to ensure a stress-free journey, and there’s plenty of food and drink on offer too.
What makes it special? Thanks to the covered underground car park, the flea market remains a dry destination even when it rains.
