The May family has lived and worked for wine since 1815. Today, Peter and Fritz May are the seventh generation to run the Karl May winery in Osthofen, Rheinhessen. The different vineyard sites and the organic cultivation of the vineyards give Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling complex flavours ranging from mild with a spicy, mineral aftertaste to mineral with an almost salty taste on the palate. Hof Berg is the oldest organic farm in Schleswig-Holstein. The farm has been run according to organic farming guidelines for over 40 years. The farm is located between Plön, Lütjenburg and Malente in Holstein Switzerland. Here, the farm processes the milk from around 70 cows into the finest organic cheese specialities.

Almost all of the animals slaughtered by the family business from Muxall (Probstei) come from their own farm and are processed in the professional slaughterhouse. The farm cultivates over 170 hectares of arable land itself using modern machinery to feed the grain to its pigs and cows. .

Meierhof Möllgaard from Hohenlockstedt shows us the diversity of regional cheese. You will find around 90 cheese specialities there, from fresh goat's cheese to soft cheese with or without mould cultures, semi-hard cheese and hard cheese to the 3-year-old "Alter Friesen" or "Veteranenkäse".
Fun fact: The names of the products are often based on the geography, landscape, tradition or linguistic diversity of Schleswig-Holstein.
